Note: Full-head applications typically require 3–8 packs, depending on the desired volume and thickness of the natural hair. One pack is not sufficient for a full-head transformation.

Fitting Requirements:

• Best suited for silky straight to medium-textured hair

• Not recommended for deep curl or coarse curl patterns

• For best results, layer the natural hair before installation

• Match extension density to natural hair thickness for a seamless look

• Hair must be 100% clean and dry before application

Important Aftercare Notes:

• Always use a sulfate-free, salt-free shampoo—especially for colored or processed hair

• Avoid products with harsh chemicals, high pH, or strong toners

• Swimming is not recommended, especially in chlorinated or salt water

• If tapes are exposed to frequent moisture, reseal using a flat iron on lowest heat

• Do not apply tape-ins to freshly dyed roots—this can cause slipping and poor bonding

• Use only mineral-based tape-in remover—avoid acetone, vinegar, or alcohol-based products

Styling & Maintenance:

• Hair will react like natural hair:

  • May frizz in dry weather or wave in humidity

  • Requires regular brushing, detangling, and hydration

  • May tangle at the nape or split at the ends if neglected

• Always brush using a wet brush or detangling tool

• Apply a leave-in detangler before brushing

• Avoid pulling or tugging when wet

• Blow-dry tapes thoroughly after washing to ensure proper bond

Coloring Guidance:

• Although pre-dyed Remy hair can be adjusted 1–2 levels lighter or darker, further chemical treatments are not recommended

• Coloring should only be done by professionals

• Never color natural roots with tape-ins applied—tapes will loosen, and color won’t process properly beneath adhesive

• For lifting color, use bond-protecting products like Chromaplex, Olaplex, or Silverplex

Slippage Prevention:

• Ice Tape holds securely when:

  • The correct amount of natural hair is sandwiched between wefts

  • Bonds are fully dry before heat styling or washing

  • Tapes are sealed properly during application

Slippage typically results from incorrect application or poor aftercare.
