Lifespan Guidelines

• Natural/dark colors: up to 8 fittings

• Medium brown: approx. 3–5 fittings

• Lightened European shades: approx. 2–4 fittings, or more with proper care

Lifespan depends on correct product usage and avoiding further chemical treatments.
Heat styling, harsh products, and incorrect shampoo will reduce longevity significantly.

Hair Type Compatibility

• Ideal for silky straight, thin to medium hair

• Not recommended for curly or deep curl textures

• Minimum natural hair length: shoulder length for proper blending

• Layer the natural hair before fitting for best results

• Apply equal amount of hair between tapes as natural hair for secure hold

Essential Aftercare

• Use sulfate-free, salt-free shampoo only – especially on blonde tones

• Do not chemically treat pre-lightened hair (e.g., toning, dyeing, or lightening)

• Daily brushing and hydration required, especially in dry weather

• Avoid heat tools on high settings and always use heat protection

• Recommended products: Glamorhair Leave-In Detangler, Olaplex/Chromaplex/Silverplex

• Always detangle with a wet brush or Tangle Teezer

• Never tug on the hair when wet

Tape & Fitting Advice

• Ensure the correct amount of natural hair is sandwiched between each tape

• Bonds must be 100% dry after washing – re-seal by tapping with a flat iron on low heat

• Swimming not recommended while wearing extensions, especially blondes – chlorine and saltwater dry the hair and weaken bonds

Coloring Advice

• Do not color natural hair while tape-ins are installed

• Do not apply tape-ins to freshly colored roots – adhesive will not bond correctly and may cause shedding

• Dye may not penetrate hair under the tape, resulting in spotty roots

Removal Instructions

• Only use mineral-based tape-in remover

• Avoid vinegar, acetone, or alcohol-based removers – these damage hair and skin

Natural Hair Behavior
